Then I had to restart the computer and now the tray applet (wicd-kde-git) is saying that the wicd daemon is not started. However, much to my frustration, I cannot seem to figure out why. 1.) "/etc/rc.d/wicd" start says it is "Done" but a "ps aux \| grep wicd" shows nothing. 2.) I've deleted the /etc/wicd folder and /var/lib/wicd folder but nothing works. Does anyone have any ideas what might have happened?
