Now, update it.

I wish install libreoffice, djplay but first is necessary install driver Broadcom 4312, i read wiki arch, and all in google about it, but nothing, plase helpme.

Either installing openfwwf will work (free, light and seemingly nice driver); or you will need the proprietary bloat b43-firmware if openfwwf isn't okay.

Any feedback?
If your problem is solved, it can be interesting to say how: it can be useful to other owners of the same wi-fi card.

Hello kabbalah,

I'm also using this Wifi card, you can find the driver in aur.
Just open terminal and type "yaourt b43" install the second one (b43-firmware).
Then open etc/rc.conf and add b43 to the modules list "modules(b43)" reboot and now it should work.

J'ai le même problème et mon wifi ne fonctionne pas, machine : compaq mini-311c

lspci : broadcom BCM4312 802.11bg LP-PHY

Avec les deux drivers impossible de faire la compilation toujours des erreurs de dépendances.

uname -a : ctkarch 2.6.37-ARCH

Pour le moment je suis en lan mais le wifi bah il fonctionne sur mon dualboot xubuntu


avec airmon-ng j'ai bien ma carte de visible avec le driver b43 mais impossible de la voir sous Wicd

airmon-ng >> b43 - [phy0]
