i have installed ctkarch 64 bits, then I installed kde (kdebase). After the reboot kdm start but I can connect to kde only failsafe mode. Furthermore when i arrive in kde I can't open no windows : when I click on an application (dolphin, konsole, systme settings, konqueror...) no windows openes. So in kde i can do nothing (just the righ click run, and the tolltip).

But when I use the ctkarch environment (openbox etc : the environment of the live cd I can open the kde's applications and its works.

So you known why I have this problem ?

Tanks and sorry for my bad english

Did you remove the default automatically started session? You should, before running gdm.
For this you need to comment out the line containing autostartx in /etc/inittab.

Then we'll see if kde really has issues with your gfx card. When you will start it properly.

Anyway, I don't understand why you installed ctkarch if you want archlinux+KDE.
Because ctkarch is its desktop, plus a choice of apps:
gimp abiword smplayer audacious brasero avidemux abiword gnumeric tuxracer arora midori xchat sylpheed gftp pidgin wicd gparted xarchiver
